Dining in Dublin has dramatically improved in recent years with a wide range of styles and prices to choose from. Food quality compares with the best anywhere. There is a wide range of restaurants nearby that you can choose from however we have a few recommendations:

29 South Frederick Street, Dublin 2

Bite, the Restaurant located in the Trinity Lodge, has a menu that focuses on fish and chips with a gourmet twist, with chicken and vegetarian options also available. Bite also has a outdoor terrace in the heart of the venue which provides customers with a perfect place to enjoy a cocktail or two before or after a meal.

Il Posto Restaurant

10 St. Stephens Green, Dublin 2

Il Posto is a relaxed and modern Italian Restaurant on Dublin’s St. Stephen’s Green. The restaurants appeal lies in it’s natural warmth and charm, offering regulars and newcomers an atmosphere that would make you feel like you are dining in the heart of Milan or Rome.

KC Peaches

28-29 Nassau Street, Dublin 2

Created by Katie Cantwell and Vincent Carroll in late autumn 2011, The Wine Cave continues to promote the food philosophy defined by KC Peaches Wholefoods Shop & Cafe. In The Wine Cave, local & natural foods are complemented with an interesting wine list, comprised of many biodynamic and organic wines as well as all natural, artisan Irish beers.

Duke Street, Dublin 2

If you would like something even more casual, you can have great pub food and enjoy a cold pint in The Duke. Ideally situated close to the city centre on historic Duke street, this old pub, which takes it's title from the little street named after the 2nd Duke of Grafton, has been providing liquid refreshment and sustenance to the people of Dublin since 1822. Here is also the starting point for The Dublin Literary Pub Crawl.
